EBDVF19 was organized by BDVA, in collaboration of the European Commission and VTT as the main local organizer. TT was represented in this event during the assigned session for transport entitled "The Transforming Power of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence in Everyday Mobility and Logistics" chaired by TT coordinator Rodrigo Castiñeira (R&D Coordinator, Indra).

That our Scientific Coordinator Andreas Metzger presented in Helsinki during a panel discussion at Digital Transport Days on behalf of the BDVA and TT "Data-driven AI for Mobility.

TT was present at BPM conference in Vienna September 1-6, 2019, which serves to exchange experiences and to support networking among BPM experts around the world.

TT was present at Euromicro Conference on Software Engineering and Advanced Applications (SEAA 2019).

TransformingTransport won the first Award for achieving a very high impact on all domains involved. This was one of the biggest project acknowledgments and the TT consortium is very proud of this outcome.

The project Management and the High-Level Advisory Board (HLAB) meeting took place on 16-17 May in Karlsruhe, Germany.
The two-day event was kindly hosted by the project partner PTV Group.

The International Transport Forum (ITF) Summit is the world’s largest gathering of transport ministers and the premier global transport policy event. The Summit took place from 22 to 24 May 2019 in Leipzig, Germany. More than 1.000 decision-makers from more than 80 countries attended the event, including more than three dozen ministers. Participants came from governments, business, international organisations and academia.

The TT partners AIA and Airports Gurus presented the work done at the Smart Passenger Flow Pilot ("Data analytics for passenger behavioral trends and impact on Airport Non-Aeronautical Revenues") during the 4th Airport Security & IT Summit take place on 16-17 May 2019 in Barcelona, Spain.

The Big Data innovations delivered by TransformingTransport were presented by TT partner paluno/UDE during an invited talk at an event organized by the JRF research foundation. The JRF is the research foundation of the state of North-Rhine-Westphalia in Germany with a staff of 1400 and annual turnover of 100 million Euro.

TransformingTransport (TT) was present at the Passenger Terminal Expo London 2019, where the TT partners from AIA and INDRA showed how the Smart Passenger Flow Pilot at the Athens International Airport uses Big Data to increase the volume of purchases made by the travelers by analyzing their behavior.
