This year EDF and BDVA joined forces to bring the European Big Data Value Forum that held in Versailles (Palais des Congrès), France on November 21–23, 2017.
TransformingTransport jointly with other two European projects, namely BigDataOcean and DatAcron, organised a session on “The digitalization of the transport industry and the role of Big Data value”.
TransformingTransport was also presented in the workshop “Towards Privacy-Preserving Big Data” co-organised by the EU project e-SIDES and the BDVe.
Moreover, TransformingTransport presented its work at the exhibition attracting industry professionals, business developers, researchers, and policy makers.
TransformingTransport was represented by partners from INTRASOFT, Indra, Cefriel, Thales, aluno and Answare.
The European Data Forum (EDF) is a key European event for industry professionals, business developers, researchers, and policy makers to discuss the challenges and opportunities of the European data economy and data-driven innovation in Europe. Likewise, the BDVA Summit has quickly grown into a renowned event for all stakeholders in the European data economy.
The EBDVF 2017, with the scope "Trusted AI in Smart Industry", ended in Versailles with the participation of over 800 participants on average per day (1200 registrations for 3 days).
